  • Children of Lír Box

    €100.00Price

A mythological tale of four children cursed to live their lives as swans is depicted on this jewellery box.

Made of repurposed pine, this hand-carved box is Eoin's brainchild.

The Children of Lir is an Irish myth about 4 children who are cursed and turned into swans for 900 years. The eldest sister, Fionnuala, looks after the others through storms and troubles.

The carving on the box is an original design by Eoin. The large swan is Fionnuala and she has her wing around her three younger siblings. The design wraps around the entire box and is completely hand-carved and designed by ourselves. The lid lifts on a hinge.
