ABOUT US

Houra Designs combines the work of wood craftsman Eóin and visual artist Sherlyn. The husband and wife team work from their home in the Ballyhoura Mountains in the north of County Cork - also known as Walking Country for the beautiful trails that cover the mountain.

Eóin loves wood carving, old school video games and Irish wildlife and conservation. Originally a portrait artist, Sherlyn has now expanded to working with clay and painting local wildlife and landscapes on various mediums — of course, including wood.

Their work together is inspired by Irish mythology and their surroundings in idyllic rural Ireland.
